A nine-suite oceanview villa above Tamarindo Bay, with sunrise and sunset from nearly every room.
Perched high above Tamarindo Bay, Villa Paraiso is a nine-suite retreat where the Pacific unfolds in both directions — sunrise over the bay, sunset behind the hills. Each suite opens to its own patio or balcony with a spa-style bathroom, premium bedding, and a Smart TV. Days drift between the infinity pool, the reflecting pool that runs the length of the property, and the open-air rancho. Fresh breakfast is served each morning, daily housekeeping keeps everything pristine, and a concierge team arranges airport transfers, dinners, massages, excursions, and private chef experiences. Tamarindo's restaurants, beach, and shops are a five-minute walk away. Come alone. Leave together.

A Look Inside
What's Included
The Experience
Come for the escape. Leave with something more.
Friend of a Friend escapes are intentionally designed to make connection easier.
Across four nights, we'll create small moments that invite us beyond the usual introductions — a welcome circle, conversations around the table, shared adventures, reflection, celebration and a few beautiful rituals along the way.
Nothing is forced. Nothing needs to be performed. There is plenty of room to disappear to the pool, wander into town, take a nap or spend an afternoon entirely your own.
Think less retreat, more really good vacation — with just enough intention built in to help strangers stop feeling like strangers.
“We create the space. You decide what grows in it.”
Rhythm of the Escape
Four nights, with room to breathe.
A rhythm, not a schedule. Come to what calls you — and take time alone whenever you need it. Nothing here is mandatory.

Built for Connection
The little moments are part of the itinerary.
The opening circle. The question someone asks over dinner. Cheering each other onto a surfboard. A quiet conversation by the pool. Watching the sun disappear from a catamaran. The note someone leaves for you before flying home.
We can't manufacture friendship. We can create unusually good conditions for it.

How We Travel
A little structure. A lot of room.
Friend of a Friend escapes are lightly hosted.
Throughout the four nights, we'll invite the group into a few intentional moments together — including a welcome gathering, shared meals, conversation and reflection prompts, and a closing moment before we head home. Some escapes may also include a ceremony or another experience designed around connection.
These moments are part of what makes Friend of a Friend different. But this is still your vacation. Most activities are optional, there's generous free time, and no one is expected to share anything personal they don't want to.
Come as you are. Participate in the ways that feel good.
